about

This week once again MalLabel Music is setting the darkness loose on the world with a new single and remix from San Francisco’s SMKSGNLS.

Always good to give you your fix of the dank, the Bay Area duo's new single ‘Sip’ breaks the 808 out for a little walk in this floor filling, atmospheric Trap monster, taking a minimalist approach through the builds with some psychedelic vocal mangling before dropping a wall of nefarious business down on you. Their homie, Holly takes it to a whole new realm of malevolent intent opening with just a shortness of breath building and dropping to a misaligned clusterfunk of tripped out broken things glitching into rhythms from the depths. If this is what hell sounds like, I could get down with it.
