This week MalLabel Music is very proud to bring back another creative expression of life's many facets as San Francisco, California's, Litlbird offers a glimpse into the fleeting moments that encompass an entire digital lifetime.

While many aspiring electronic musicians with education in music theory take more time to educate themselves on how to make the music they want via the wealth on online tutorials, Litlbird, spent his time avoiding them altogether and instead anatomizing synthesizers, and samplers to see what original specimens would shake out naturally and skillfully creating innovative experiences with the resulting sound asunder. Soaring to new heights on the success of last years captivating EP 'This Moment', Litlbird dives through the aether and into the digital realm to bring you another phantasmal story.

His newest EP, Tamagotchi, takes us to a small forgotten toy, lost in a mountain of trash, clinging to the last bar of it's battery life, and the memories of the being held within. These tiny digital warriors, dependant on our benevolence for survival in the form of apples and cake live out their short lives over and over again with no intention but to live and die by our fleeting interest. 'Senshi', the Japanese word for warrior takes us on a choppy, gamified romp through the birth of a soldier before 'Chi', meaning blood, flows viscerally through a disjointed reality in 5,4 timing. Finally, 'Shinda', or death, closes the EP with bitter sweet chord manipulations culminating in a unique and beautiful destiny fulfilled.
