MalLabel Music is bringing massive sounds from the Midwest this week as crowd pleasers LoTemp emerge from the depths of Kansas City with a trio of hot summer bangers.

Spreading their elusive blend of street worthy, hip hop influenced beats slowly but surely around their region, this powerhouse duo has a summer of serious festival dates lined up and shows no signs of slowing.

Their debut on MalLabel Music, ‘HeadStakk’ is a middle finger to overproduced, lackluster EDM. The EP is raw, gritty and carries with it a tone reminiscent of the beginning of bass music’s greatest era. The title track enters with essential dubby tones, naughty two step and hypnotising vocal samples. Impressively showcasing their versatility, ‘Another Galaxy’ and ‘Just Listen’ are miles apart in their scope. The former is deep, forbidding and dubbed out, while the later is scratchy, glitchy and essentially future.

Dripping, dank and helping to define the next generation of bass heads, LoTemp is topping our ‘ones to watch’ list, with good reason.
