about

MalLabel is back with another pay-what-you-want Monday this time with a full EP of four thought provoking Bass Music tunes from Nevada City’s, KRSTOS.

KRSTOS has had one of the most eclectic array of experiences one could have bringing him to the inspirations that drive his musical experiences to their fullest. From Punk and Noise-Rock to sound healing and busking across the US with his newfound love for the Mandolin, he has recorded music for his newest project from tents, bunkers and couches alike as his experiences in the human form grew. His latest EP ‘Darker’ brings all this experience to an esoteric vision of the space within. The arcane experience sets off as ‘Tinker Bell’ splashes the pixie glitches all over an atmospheric journey out into the night before taking us above the skyline looking down through the smoggy climate of a dark, mechanical cityscape in ‘Cloud Push’. ‘Trip Crackin’ is a slow moving, wobble vibe of Aphex Twin reminiscent Lo_Fi elements and tones while ‘We Got Walton’ closes off the EP wading through the machine with tripped out vocal stabs and computerized psychedelia driving the vibes through the ether. Lose yourself in the depths of another world in this deeply original experience.
