This week MalLabel Music is bringing back some low flowing tribal grime as The Bay Area's, Poppa Doses teams up with Golden Eye straight from the California wilderness to show us how city boys and forest creatures create fat beats fit for concrete or literal jungles.

We've come to expect a certain level of new Grime flavor from Poppa Doses as his low tech tribal vibes bleed through the fabric of cutting edge and retro genres alike and there doesn't seem to be much that couldn't be broken in with a dose of Poppa's style when he drops the darkness on it. Meanwhile, deep in the California greenery one can hear rumblings unlike those one might expect from the earthquake capital of the world, but just as deep as Golden Eye pushes the envelope of Dub styles to the limit with a funky G'd up re-rub of G Funk, Dub, and Hip-Hop.

As the two of them join forces for a triple threat of sub rumbling goods one could expect something well outside the bass music box and one certainly wouldn't be wrong. The title track opens up with a tribal roll that slowly builds into an Eastern World Bass roller that enchants us into a hypnotizing nod. Up next 'Drop It Low' just keeps the grime rollin' in the filth as low tech vibes fill the room with an ominous ambiance amidst the vocal cuts and finally, 'From Far Away' trips it up a notch with a glitched out mash of vocal manipulations and otherworldly textures. For those of us that want to get lower than low and take it slow.
