about

Another beautiful start to the MalLabel Music week as Monday brings with it another unique EP, this time with a taste to satisfy the palate of any soul searcher by the West Coast wandering, Krstos.

Krstos has always been attuned to the healing intonations and effects that sound has on the world around us from the esoteric teachings of his sound healer father, but he is now even more driven by a passion to discover the secrets of the fibonacci and geometrics that hold this world together and connect us all. These insights seem to have granted him an intimacy with sound that allows him to modulate layers of reality with every melodic articulation. His ability to weave abstract emotion into a tapestry of cryptic harmonies and arcane projections is waiting to be discovered subtly underlying his exceedingly smooth blending of glitches and pitches. His new EP, Spirals, is quite the experience as each piece takes on such a completely different set of emotional elaborations that it’s almost best to take a quick pause between tracks and reset your nervous system. Warning: Deep waters ahead. Dive on in.
