This week MalLabel Music has got a whole lot o' glitches on pitches riding the dubs and wubs as Denver, Colorado's, The Digital Connection shows us the extremes of his psychedelic side in his new out of this world album.

The Digital Connection has been a champion of bass and a staple of the Mid-West for a number of years with a thick catalogue of low end monsters and feel goods. Always one to break the idea of what music should be, he has been pushing some of both the dirtiest and sexiest of rhythms and vocals through a gruelling array of glitch generators and machine noises to pump out the most fractalized melodies a sound system could take. Originally pushing the phattest of Dubstep's offerings, he has since evolved his sound to reach as far as the most delicate of Downtempo creations and everything in between.

His new album, Portalface, takes his usual creativity and experimentalism to a whole new level with a mould annihilating exhibition of Liquid Bass and extraterrestrial Swamp-Hop. Every single one of these tracks is a mind bending exodus from the ordinary and even the extraordinary to be honest. Jump in to a whole new exploration of worlds outside our own and get slammed with a menacing, Bass fuelled, psychedelic experience so fantastically outlandish you'll need a break in between just to reset your mind grapes. Saying it's like listening to Tipper with attitude would be an understatement, but that's about the best this wordsmith has got for you after these beasts. That and a big ol' get this in ya!
