This week MalLabel Music is once again bringing you into the depths of inspired composition as Vancouver Island, Canada's, Jellynote shows us that there is a whole new world out there to discover.

Jellynote is a fresh new solo project from Western Canadian festival favourite duo 'Hertz Donut' born out of a love for his new home by the ocean and a few of his favourite things. What drove him as far west as one could go to find the passion he now finds himself swimming in is also a part of the inspiration for the name of his new EP. The other part being a desire to inspire others to follow their dreams. Oceans are meant to be crossed. They are not a barrier, but a part of the journey. Sometimes the biggest obstacle is really just a challenge to see what dreams may come to you on the other side.

Oceans was born out of the experiences that most of us shy away from. The hardships we all endure. The loss. But also the new beginnings. The love, and believing in yourself. Standing at the edge of a hard drive failure and a complete loss of all of your hard work and realizing that the product might be gone, but the hard work is a part of you that will never leave you. Taking to the support of others to move on and create something beautiful out of letting go. Everything about this EP is an inspired invitation not to let anything get in the way of your greatest desires. Well go on... dare to live.
