about

MalLabel Music is back with some Ghetto Bass fo’ ya face on another pay-what-you-want Monday with a new banger from Victoria, Canada’s Strange Thing and Pigeon Hole.

The island capital of British Columbia is a Canadian paradise surrounded by ocean, rainforests, and the vibes that hit like an earthquake in a region that’s already full of ‘em. It’s also home to some heavy hitting bass music junkies and though the days in winter may be short, the bass never sleeps. While the waves were crashing on the twilight lit shores, Strange Thing and Pigeon Hole were rockin’ the studio and pushing the limits of subwoofers and neighbors patience. The result as only heard so far in Costa Rica as Pigeon Hole dropped it at Bamboo Bass Festival is an ominous and slowly stomping menace of a tune. ‘Night Owl’ takes the darkness to a new level of deliberate grime with a cadence fit for the terminator. Slow, Dark and Massive. Get some.
