about

This week MalLabel Music is bringing back some of that bubblin' basement vibe as Eugene Oregan's, BedroomTrax take you on another dip through the hot & sweaty afterparty feels while they bump the joint 'til it's good and frothy.

MalLabel is stoked to bring this collaborative project back in 2016 after last years hit EP 'Night Lights' showed us how to bring the bedroom juice to the dance floor with style. These boys are no strangers to the deep vibes with heavy influences from Hip-Hop and psychedelic ambient bass infusing their 808 driven, glitchy delights. Their newest EP, Memory Foam brings all that flavor to life in a journey through shades of Purple, Trap and Glitch-Hoppy business. It's really tough to keep track when it's so apparent that genres are not even on their radar.

Opening with 'MalFunktion' the hype builds over patterns of 50's radio clips before getting into some fat grimy bass as 'Buffalo Drizzle' drips the flow into the underground waterways for a dip in the sludge. The title track is a sultry Purple ride through psychedelia swirling through seductive vocal undertones before 'Lay em Out' moves from R&B vibes to Rap Fusion as Raquel Divar drops the heavy jabs in the dark beats. Finally, 'Pitches Love Vibrato' keeps that dark Hip-Hop vibe and drops all manner of wobble and glitch up in the business. Drop these on your life and see if it holds it's shape.
