about

Mycho Pan Cocoa’s “Drugs In My Pocket” EP features two spine tingling originals guaranteed to annihilate the dance floor paired with a remix from the down and dirty superstar producer 6BLOCC.

The original is saturated with killer 8-bit sounds for melodies with Mycho’s trademark rubber band bass blasts that give it an energized, aggro feel but the dubby breakdown is pure smokers’ delight. The clever “drugs in my pocket” vocal snippet from MC Black Diamond gives this one a fun, dance floor feel that is always ready for a rewind.

The 6Blocc remix features dark and intense bass wobbles and the vocals pitched down to sound menacing. Together the two bring out the inner crunk gangsta on the re-rub for an epic thing of skull crushing beauty.

Closing out the record is a wonky bass re-working of the James Bond theme courtesy of SpyStep – the studio collaboration between Bass Cadet and Mycho. The track begins with the familiar theme and quickly breaks down into a dubby, deep sawtooth wave dance floor excursion that is an epic peak hour monster.
