about

Recent meteorological reports have indicated that there is a storm brewing in Kelseyville, California. Radar Satellite Research has indicated that Shiloh Jacobsen (operating under the moniker Shizloh) has developed some sort of electronic sonic weather machine that has recently been implemented to create his latest EP – “Bass Storm.”

Many Norcal folks might know Shizloh as one of the anchormen for the Glitch Report - an electronic music production duo from Northern California known for their high energy performances and weekly live radio show on Glitch.FM. His experience as glitch reporter has exposed him to the latest and greatest in cutting edge bass production which he has taken on and developed in his own musical work.

With roots as a drummer / guitar / sax player in various styles of bands, Shizloh has taken his passion for production to the next level into this wild and wobbly world of electronica. His taste grew from hippy roots (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Yes) into heavy metal (Me- shuggah, Cannibal Corpse) and eventually into the world of glitch bass (Bassnectar, Love & Light, Tipper.) All of these factors have come together to form the “Bass Storm.” Be prepared for a downpour of gale force bass, hailing percussion and strong gusts of glitched out melody. On Sept 03, 2013 – don’t leave the house without your brainjacket.
