This week MalLabel Music has a fat stack of remix styles along with a few original edits from San Francisco's premier hybrid electronic/live band NVO.

Since 2010, NVO has been shredding the scene with a relentless assault of guitar, bass, drums, synthesizers and whatever else they find to record the funk out of. The trio takes the organic path to the creation of their grooves before completely dissecting and reconstructing it all with the freshest tech pushing the electronic movement further into the future. The resulting fusion of bass heavy rock, sci-fi funk and rave-hop epitomizes the NVO sound as they strive to rock you into space with a high energy live performance so out of this world you better catch it when you can.

Their new single, Astral Revelation comes complete with a separate Deep mix and a 12 inch edit of this housey gem on it's own, but adds 4 remixers to fit any mood. My Pet Monster adds some Mid-Tempo fiya with a stompin' flood of chunky bass while OG Krush picks it way up with a sly Jungle Footwork rinse out. Nym Brings us a deep introspective groove with a slow progressive build into a rollin', techy jam and finally Anoctave drops the Electro House treatment on it reminding us what made the genre great; big bass and all the feels. A journey for the soul, in whatever attitude suits your mood.
