about

MalLabel Music is bringing back the heavy hitting bass business this week with some Dubstep and Trap from Nevada. Peep this hot fiya from Reno's, SubDocta.

Just down the road from the Burning Man playa and deep in the desert lab all winter, SubDocta has been putting the pliers to some misbehaving noises and twisting out some fatter than life bass with accompanying screeches and cracks. All this to bring you the bangin' Bass Music you need to get you pumped up for the festival season. With Summer approaching fast he has already picked up touring destinations at some of the best and brightest summer festivals including Enchanted Forest Gathering and if this EP is any indication you're going to want to keep your dancing shoes extra tight to handle the kind of madness he will drop on a dance floor.

Pitch Black is an unwieldy quartet of doom and menace with a penchant for basslines with malevolent intent. Opening with 'Swerve', the hell's bells are already ringing as the ominous undertones swell through the stompin' rhythm of multiple cutting edge bass tools. Next the title track gets trippy in the house and Trappy on the bass with a psychedelic storm of doom, gloom and a whole lot of boom. 'Swanky' manipulated demonic choir tones into a drop of rollin' hallucinations bringing us to 'Triple Shot' which closes the EP with some hood rich vibes underlying some vitriolic dubstep bass madness. Heavy. Get some.
