about

Fresh from the shower of accolades following his last EP, Elemental, Eugene, Oregon-based musician Art of Fact (AKA Tyler Willis) brings the elements to life on his new album, Body of Water, to be released June 10, 2014. With a fluid blend of Glitch Hop and Psy Dub beats, Body of Water finds Art of Fact layering liquid grooves of avant-garde jazz, reggae, hip-hop and dreamy sound effects, conjuring a tsunami of sound that will drown dance floors in ethereal ecstasy.

A veteran of the stage, Art of Fact has been performing since the age of twelve, when he was a budding classical and jazz musician. His mastery of those intricate compositions brings a unique flood of technical perfection to Body of Water, an album dripping with spirited and organic enthusiasm. Having shared the stage with the likes of ill-Esha, 2Nutz, Dubvirus and Wala in numerous shows and festivals, Art of Fact is well on his way to making a heavyweight splash in the west coast bass scene.
